About Our Farm
Double D Farm is a 225 acre working poultry and cattle farm in the Double Springs Community of Townville, SC. We have 8 poultry houses and raise angus beef cattle. The Farm House
This farm house was built in the late 1800's by Mr. Yank Cromer and family. Our family purchased the house and property in 2006. Rather than tearing the house down, we have been trying to restore it, yet keep it as original as possible. It still has a lot of the original furniture inside. The house was built by family members using wood, such as heart pine, straight from the farm. We offer rental of the house and barn as a venue for weddings, parties, reunions, photo shoots and more! About Us
Double D Farm is owned and operated by Don and Deanna Burns. In November of 2004, we moved to the Double Springs Community of Townville, SC to start up the farm and raise our children. We have two grown children, a son, Jared, and a daughter, Hunter. Don loves farming. It's his passion. Deanna has been employed with Clemson University for over 27years and will retire around April 2019. She will spend more time working on the farm and focusing on improving the old farm house venue.
